I'm a 20-something nerd living in the woods just south of Chapel Hill, NC. When I'm not editing or tutoring or attempting to write, I'm generally preoccupied with various obsessions. juddd - for those interested in pursuing the aforementioned diet-lifestyle, which I've been following for over a year now. However, my personal journal does NOT focus on the diet, and any posts I make regarding my personal progress with the diet are either in the aforementioned community, or in custom filters. I do make public posts about the more mundane aspects of my daily life, though, such as my cooking, amusing discoveries, various projects I take on and any media I consume. Fair warning: I tend to discuss sex and use expletives to excess; I can also be frivolous.When it comes to any form of fictional media (books, TV, films) I am an extreme spoilerphobe; even for media that is thousands of years old. Knowing the tiniest, seemingly trivial details about something I have yet to experience can completely destroy my future enjoyment. Please, please be considerate of this. I do not even watch previews ('next week on...'), or want to know casting details. An extreme reaction, whether negative or positive, can also spoil me if I know what your preferences are in regards to a show's plotline. When in doubt, use an LJ-cut. Thank you!
My more private posts concern topics that some may find disturbing and some are certainly what would be considered 'adult', so if you are easily offended or very conservative, you would probably not enjoy being on those filters. If I friend you, I may add you to various filters; please don't hesitate to ask me to remove you from them if you don't want to hear about those aspects of my personal life. Likewise, feel free to friend ME, though I do like to read people's journals and get to know them a bit before friending in return.
